Hi there lover! After sharing a few pictures of some ornaments I bought for my tree, I knew I had to post more details of the finished tree… so here we are! I was so, so, so eager to buy my tree that I asked my Mom and sister if they could help me on November 24…yep 2 days before Thanksgiving. I bought it at Lowes and thought the price ($35) was great for a 6-7 foot tree. Lowes also provided great customer service and they helped pack the tree up and secure it to the car, I highly recommend. The tree I picked is nice and fluffy all around and its’ perfect flaw is that it is slightly crooked, lol.
I waited a few days to pass, just admired it with no ornaments and those days were also hectic with Thanksgiving celebrations. Then on November 27, I put on Christmas music, got in my most comfortable clothing piece ever {my onesie} and decorated the tree with my Mom. I wanted it to be a very girly Christmas tree, with shoes, lipsticks, cupcakes, hearts, lots of pink.. you know what I mean. I’m in love with how the color scheme turned out being mostly silver, gold, or clear ornaments and then pops of pink throughout.
The wine glass was a gift from my sweet sister and she bought it at HomeGoods. The ballet slippers are from Macy’s. I took ballet classes for many years growing up and it is still one of my favorite dance styles. These have a special place in my heart.
A margarita with even the salt and strawberry on the rim is just too cute!! My mom got me this one from Target.
Love all of these! The Eiffel Tower is from Urban Outfitters / the monogram ‘J’ is from Target / the pearl hearts and silver snowflakes are from Macy’s.
This adorable nail polish bottle is from Target… of course I had to buy a matching one for my nail blogger sister! 😉
All shoe ornaments and the macarons are from Macy’s. The champagne bottle was my splurge and it’s from Henri Bendel. *insert heart eyes*
I also wanted to share this beautiful wreath my mom made for me. All my life she has made the most gorgeous wreaths for our home and now it means so much to me that she made one for my new home.
What’s your Christmas tree look like? Do you prefer sticking to a theme or just going all out with any Christmas décor? I’d love to know! Thanks for stopping by lover!
