Hi lover! For my birthday I was gifted the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette by two of my sweet friends. I was so excited to get this because I was not expecting it at all! 🙂 As a consumer, I know that it’s easy to look at the colors in this palette and think “I don’t like wearing smokey eyes or dramatic makeup so this is not for me” so I wanted to first create a more natural, everyday look with these colors.
For this I used Combust in the crease and Whiskey in the outer corner to deepen it. With my finger I applied Radar all over the lid and I really enjoyed how easily it applied without needing a brush. To highlight my brow bone I used Thirteen. Overall I only used 4 shadows (all from the Smoky Palette) and used my finger to apply the lid color, making this a great look for any day that I am short on time to get ready.
I cannot give you a full review of this palette just yet, but so far I really liked how this look turned out. Have you tried it yet? I’d love to know your thoughts. Hope you have a wonderful day lovers!
Wow! I didn’t even think a soft natural look could be done with the Smokey palette! Thanks for sharing. This is great for everyday wear. It’s great that the palette is versatile. Please do a smokey night time look 🙂
