24th Birthday Recap

Hi lover! August 29, 2015 was my 24th Birthday!!! It seems unreal that I turned 24 just because I remember so clearly being 8, 12, 15, 18, 21.. all those ages. I feel blessed to celebrate a new year and I have always, always loved birthdays. So on Saturday, Bobby and my mom woke me up by singing “happy birthday” and bringing some gifts and breakfast. Bobby was the breakfast chef and it was all of my favorites! I don’t really like eggs and all your traditional breakfast foods, so everything in that picture is heavenly for me!   Saturday there were lots of scattered rainstorms which caused a change in the surprise Bobby had planned. By the afternoon we had a nice lunch prepared by my Mom, opened presents and enjoyed a delicious cake.

At night my sister and her boyfriend came over to enjoy a birthday drink and then drove us to the pre-party! 🙂 Do you think we look alike? I think she’s beautiful!

My best friends Kelci and Jose were so incredibly sweet to host a pre-party at their place for us to kick off the night. All our friends were going to meet us there and then Uber (take a taxi) to go out dancing. However we kept delaying the time to order the Uber since we were having so much fun at the pre-party… and then the thunder storms started. Eventually we just decided to stay and have the party there. It was such a blast! My other best friend Syrel, really blew me away with the most beautiful rose gold (my favorite!) ring and bracelet, which is the present I am showing above! 🙂

If I could, I would post all the pictures from the party but there are too many and some got a little fuzzy towards the end of the night, lol!  All in all I am so grateful to all my friends and family that celebrated with me on Saturday. Even those that could only call, text or send me messages, I felt very special thanks to you as well! I love you all and nothing fills my love tank more than receiving birthday wishes and presents! 😉
