Spring Pink Makeup

Hi lover! For most of my life, pink was my faaaavorite color. I had an all pink room with an over flowing amount of Hello Kitty decor. These pictures remind me so much of those years. I love the pink flowers in the background, as well as the pink theme in the makeup. The Hello-Kitty-like bow earrings are like the cherry on top!

For my eye shadow on the lid, I used MAC pigment in the shade rose. I used a mix of warm browns and mauve tones to blend in the crease of the eyes. To define them a bit more, I used Makeup Geek’s gel liner in the shade Immortal, to create a wing. For mascara, I used a combination Too Faced’s Better Than Sex (my favorite!) and Urban Decay’s Perversion (best for holding a curled lash). On the lips, I’m wearing Maybelline matte lipstick, in the shade Ravishing Rose.

I don’t have perfect skin. No where near it, but I really dislike the idea of blurring out or using filters to disguise my imperfections. For this reason, in these pictures you can still see dark spots and texture bumps. I know the feeling of struggling to love your skin, but I can sincerely tell you that even through my breakouts, I really do love my skin. I hope you liked this makeup look!
