Hi lover! Today I wanted to start a new series that will show small updates and décor ideas I’ve had with my new living space. First up is my TV stand. Just looking at this piece makes me so proud because it was the first furniture I built all on my own! I bought this one at Ikea and it is called the Brusali. I was originally hoping to find one that had drawers or doors so the DVDs would be tucked away, but to save money I ended up choosing the Brusali. So far, I’ve absolutely loved it and I still want to add a few decorations to make it look nicer.
Next is this gorgeous vase that my mom gave me. She bought the same one for herself and my sister so that we could all have it and it is one of my favorite things in my home. It is different from any other vase I own and will always have a sweet memory. 🙂
Lastly is this decorative bowl with mini faux pumpkins. The bowl was a Home Goods find and the pumpkins were purchased there as well. The intricate details on the bowl are so beautiful that it can easily stand alone without any fillers. I added the pumpkins to bring the first bit of fall décor into my home and they are just so cute! Right now I have this sitting on my coffee table and in the future I might use it as a center piece for my dining table.

My favorite is the gorgeous bowl with the pumpkins!!! Fall decor is totally my favorite. I’ve only put up my Fall decor outside on my door. but I’m doing the inside of my place soon! Congrats on building that TV stand on your own. IKEA furniture can get tricky to build.
