Hi lover! How’s your week going? Mine has been fairly chill and for that I’m happy! Oh my gosh, I also have to share that I’ve started rewatching Scandal and I am massively obsessed. Before I had only watched until the beginning of Season 2 and I wasn’t that into it. Now, if I could watch it all day long, I totally would lol!
Today I created more of a darker, grey tone smokey eye only using colors from the Urban Decay Smoky palette. Recently I did a more day time look using the palette, here, and now I like it even more! The matte colors are really, really good which helps me a lot when blending the colors. Under the brow bone I applied Combust with the E40 fluffy blending brush. Using the same brush, I then went in with Password to darken the outer corner and crease. Next I used the dual-ended brush (on the side that is thicker) to apply Black Market to the outer corner. I then blended all the colors with the middle brush (pictured above) which is a stiffer blending brush, for more precise control. Again using the dual ended brush (the right end, flatter side) I applied Armor all over the lid. With just those 4 colors and 3 brushes, I created this look. 🙂 I love being able to use only one palette because it saves me time while getting ready.
