Hi lovey!! Today is my 23rd birthday!!! I’m so grateful to be able to celebrate this new year. For as long as I can remember, I have always loved my birthday. It’s funny I mention this, but I do know of people who don’t like all the fuss and big celebrations. I’m quite the opposite, I love having a party every year, speaking to family members or friends that I don’t often speak to, and of course, presents!! One of my love languages is receiving gifts. Gift giving has been a part of many cultures all over the world, through out the history of time. It’s not about the materialistic value, but definitely the meaning and thought behind the gift. To me, something as small as a pencil eraser, a cookie, a hand written note, all those gifts truly fill my heart with joy. It means so much to me that someone thought of me when they saw a particular or item or when they made me one.

So enough about the gifts, today is going to be lots of fun since I have taken the day off work to relax with my loved ones. I am wearing this beautiful cheetah dress tonight for appetizers & desserts with my family. Today is also the first day of my vacation and I am going on a very exciting trip tomorrow! I will be traveling to Doha, Qatar to visit my cousin who lives their with her husband. Upon our return to Miami, I will be spending some days in Paris, France!!! Paris is top 3 on my places-to-visit bucket list, so I cannot even contain my excitement. 🙂
