Hi lover! This past week was filled with difficult moments and overwhelming emotions. On Friday, July 18, 2014, I said good-bye to my only pup, Coco. The sad truth is that Coco was very sick and suffering greatly. He had been sick for a while and deteriorated so quickly in just one month.
Coco lived a long, happy life and was 4 months short of turning 16 years old! We brought Coco home when he was just 4 months old, so we really shared our lives together. I remember wanting a puppy so badly and at the time I really had no idea what having a dog entailed. We went to a few stores before we found him. Coco was the only dog in the whole shop that was not barking and he was lying down very calmly. For some reason that really attracted us to him. 🙂
If you have ever owned a pet, you know exactly the feeling of loosing them. It’s very hard to describe, but after seeing Coco suffer for some time, I do feel a sense of peace knowing he is in heaven.

Coco will be missed but I know he’s in dog heaven right now barking away and eating all the cheese he could handle. Great post and sorry for the loss.
