Hi lover!! This weekend was SO different for me! Bobby (my boyfriend) was on a work trip since last week and he was gone all weekend too. Needless to say, I have missed him INSANELY. I heard a beautiful French quote that says “In French, you don’t say ‘I miss you.” You say “tu me manques”, which means you are missing from me”. I’m not sure how accurate the translation is, but that is how I felt with Bobby. Time apart is nice because you realize a lot of things you can’t see when you are always together. Yet, it was harder for me since it was our 5 year anniversary. I must say, I felt so loved by Bobby and family members. On Friday which was our anniversary, his older brother and sister-in-law invited me to their house for dinner. They went above and beyond to do special little things and I felt so full of love! My mom was with me the rest of the weekend, willing to do absolutely anything we could enjoy together and cheering me up after I found out Bobby would be coming home a day late. I am so grateful to have these special people in my life!

Anyway, these slip on nude shoes from Old Navy are my current favorite shoes. They are so effortless and match with everything!!! I wore them all day on Saturday, walked for many hours and no complaints. They can make any outfit more casual and laid back, which I really like about them. I’ve seen similar slip on shoes at really different price points, some upwards of $100, but luckily these were $18. 😉
