Work Wears : Spring Lace

Hi lover! Happy hump day! I love Wednesdays and I’ll tell you why… other than it’s the middle of the week. Usually after the weekend fun, I take Mondays and Tuesdays to do any tasks that I tend to put off or consider more boring. Then by the time Wednesday rolls around I’m ready for a fun day again lol! I like to have dinner with a friend, enjoy some wine, go to the movies or even go out dancing.

I wore this lovely outfit to work on Monday. I’m seriously obsessed with the look. Once I get a bit of a tan, yellow becomes one of my favorite colors to wear. Even though I wore this to work, I think it would look so nice for any day time event. Also, when I took these pictures we had a lot of trouble with the lighting and the wind. The sun kept coming out from behind clouds and then being covered again. But anyway, I still love how it all turned out. 🙂

Quick Fix : Drawers Organization

Hi lover! I missed you and this blog space of mine. How was your weekend? Mine was great… I got to exercise for the first time in a few weeks and did lots of organizing. The last two weekends I’ve been on a spring-cleaning-spree and it feels amazing to get rid of clutter and mess. Every few months I need to remove everything from my drawers and pick out clothes I’m not wearing and then reorganize it all. That’s what I did yesterday and here are some before and afters.

The first drawer is filled with my pajamas. I have a variety of styles because what I wear to sleep just depends on my mood. In the before picture, the 3 items on top are the only folded ones because they had just been washed lol. Underneath that, everything was a giant mess. In the after picture, (from left to right) the top corner has night dresses, then t-shirts and tank tops and on the left I have pants and oversized shirts.

Next drawer is filled with tank tops, t-shirts and crop tops. The before picture is simply embarrassing and I’m not sure how I was living with it looking that way! In the after picture, I separated all the tops by style and color. Top left are light colored tanks on top and then pastel colored t-shirts underneath. Bottom left corner are all my crop tops, arranged by color. In the middle I have camis which are nice for work or to wear under jackets and cardigans. Top right corner are dark colored tanks and t-shirts and lastly the bottom right has light colored t-shirts.

Last drawer is workout and lounge clothes. In the before picture, I had too much clothes in one drawer and that made it constantly look messy. With each drawer I tried everything on to make sure I still liked the fit of each piece and then got rid of the ones that no longer fit well. In the after picture, on the left I separated t-shirts and tank tops. On the right are all the pants, separated by lounge and yoga style.

Work Wears : Olive Casual Dress

Hi lover!! How’s your week been? Mine has been nice and chilling, mixed in with some cleaning at home. I’m so excited that the weekend is just one day away. 😉

I actually wore this outfit for work on St. Patrick’s Day! I’ve had this dress for a few years now and I love it. The material is both slouchy and fitted and the combination makes it feel like a soft pajama lol. This look was one that I easily transitioned to night time and wore it with flat caged sandals.

Pop of Green Eye Makeup

Hi lover! How was your weekend? Mine was really fun and I actually didn’t have any down time, but I loved every second of it. On Saturday I spent the day with friends riding jet skis all day. Although I applied sunscreen everywhere in the morning, I forgot to reapply and currently have a crazy sunburn. On the bright side, it’s already looking better and now I know I cannot forget to reapply SPF. Here is a makeup look I created last week and loved the pop of green in the eye shadows.

For the shadows I used the Lorac Pro Palette 2 and Makeup Geek individual shadows. I think Makeup Geek and the Lorac palette will forever be my favorite shadows because I use them on a weekly basis. In the crease I applied a warm peach color (Nectar from Lorac palette) to create a nice transition. Then to deepen the crease, I used High Tea (Makeup Geek) which is a deep, matte olive. Starting in the inner part of the lid, I applied a frosty white (Snow from Lorac) to blend evenly into the green. On the middle of the lid I placed a green foiled shadow (Jester by Makeup Geek) to really make the look pop. On the outer corner, I used a deep, frosty olive (Jade from Lorac). Lastly I used Makeup Geek gel liner in Immortal to create a winged line.

Life Photo Diary

Hi lover! I’ve been meaning to post this Life Photo Diary for a few weeks now. Here’s a look at what’s been on my iPhone from about a month ago. 😉 First, a selfie right after I got my hair trimmed and blow-dried by my sweet {adopted} older sis, Hillary.

First beach day of the year called for some wine in my hello kitty cup!

My best friend is getting married next year and she invited the girls over for a fun night to ask us to be her bridesmaids. She’s the cutest.

Not even for a second did I doubt that I would be a bridesmaid. 🙂 I love her forever & ever!

Earlier in March, Kelci and her fiancé, Jose invited me to the Renaissance Festival. They go every year (also have invited me every single time) and I am not sure why the heck I waited so long to go. It was such a fun day, I kinda felt like I was teleported to another land.

Some of my favorite drinks I tried at the festival were these mead wines. They are very sweet, delicious and made here in Florida.
