Hi lover! Last week I had some free time so I decided to go to a few stores and just browse. I went to a local boutique, Kohl’s and Nordstrom Rack and didn’t buy a single thing at any of them. I saved Forever 21 for last because I don’t think there has ever been a time that I leave that store empty handed. Anyway, that’s the back story on why everything in this short haul is from Forever 21. 😉

The first dress has an ADORABLE pineapple print and a halter neckline. I love everything about it and the halter style is different than any other dress I have.

This olive shade is such a great neutral. It can be styled so differently by changing your accessories and looks just as cute with the sleeves rolled up.

Hi lover! How you been? I missed posting here last week so I’m hoping to make up for it this week. 😉 The past 2 weeks I’ve been wearing my hair straight and it feels so different to me. In high school I only wore my hair straight so for the past few years I’ve loved styling it curly or wavy. Right now my hair is in need of a trim, which is normally when I would avoid wearing it straight (since it looks longer) but I’ve just been loving it.

I’m obsessed with this outfit! I wore it yesterday for a family lunch to celebrate my grandfather’s 91st birthday. If you could meet him, you would never guess his age because he’s so full of life. He’s always cracking jokes and even knows how to send text messages, lol! Anyway, yesterday I got to wear my new hat and it inspired me to pair it with some flared jeans and t-shirt for an effortless boho look.

Hi lover! I am beyond happy today is Friday and it’s a 3 day weekend for me. I always wonder why it isn’t the norm to have 3 day weekends? I never come up with an answer, but I’ll take what I can get.

I wore this outfit to work on Tuesday and I had totally forgotten how much I love these pants. I got them about 2 years ago and was instantly attracted to the burgundy color. Taking these pictures was so fun because my mom came to visit me during lunch and we had a quick shoot. Getting outdoors to have lunch is my absolute favorite during this time of year.

Hi lover! How was your weekend? Did you enjoy watching the superbowl? I loved the half time performance and although the game wasn’t very interesting {to me} I did enjoy the watch party. 😉 Other than that, I spent all day Saturday cleaning and I really LOVE a clean house! We had super cold weather and a rainy Saturday night.

This denim jacket is part of my clothing haul, which I posted last week here. The jacket was completely meant for me because it was the only one hanging on the rack and just happened to be my size. It is so, so comfortable! The sleeves are lined with a terrycloth material that feels like a cozy robe. I love this modern twist on a classic denim jacket.
