Hi lover! Starting today, this weekend is supposed to be very rainy. Rainy days are some of my favorites but I just hope that at some point it clears up so I can shoot more blog pictures. I’m so excited it’s Friday because even though I don’t have any plans, I know it will be a fun weekend. 🙂

I love an all black outfit. I love a good floppy hat too. I bought this one recently from Forever 21 and was drawn to how oversized it is. This outfit is perfect for our Miami cooler months because none of the fabrics are actually thick enough to make you hot. The vest is very light weight and only has faux fur along the front hem. The tissue turtleneck is my favorite and I bought it last year for $10. I haven’t seen it again this year at Old Navy but I’m really hoping they bring them back. It’s incredibly soft and I love how the neck part isn’t thick or bulky.

Easy Glitter Eye Shadow Tip

Hi lover! Now that the holidays are amongst us, it’s also the start of all the holiday parties. Usually this time of year is when I love to wear glitter eye shadows to really feel glamorous. The only downside to using glitter is that sometimes it can get messy and end up all over your face. I have a few tricks to avoid that, but today I’ll show you the one product that makes it very easy to rock a glittery eye look.

For this makeup, I used the Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner in the shade Distortion. Since it is marketed as an eyeliner the brush applicator is very thin and easy to place exactly where you want glitter. There is no fall out and you can decide how glittery to make your look. I know other brands make similar glitter eye liners (such as NYX) so you don’t have to buy this specific one, but using a liquid glitter eyeliner will make your holiday makeup a lot easier to apply.

Work Wears: Cobalt Blue

Hi there lover! Oh I’ve missed these Work Wears posts. Since I work in the office 5 days out of the week, majority of my time is spent in work clothes. I’m sure some of you may not wear this to your job, but I think it works just as nicely for a holiday party or dinner party.

These pants I’ve had for about 3 years. Sadly, there was a time between then and now that I didn’t fit into them, but I loved them so much I knew I would keep them for when I lost the weight. Now I’m thrilled to fit into them again. I prefer this boot cut style over my skinny leg work pants. The blouse I’ve also had for a while and was always saving to wear it for “a special occasion”. I’m so weird when it comes to buying new clothes. Instead of wearing them right away, I usually save it for a fun day, lol!

Black Friday Haul

Hi lover! Happy first day of December!! Last week was Thanksgiving and I was only able to post once all week *insert sad face*. 2015 has been an amazing year and I have many things to be grateful for. I’m extremely grateful for each of you that read my blog. Even if you only get to read it once in a while, or on-the-go from your phone.. whichever way it is, thank you so, so much! I love you!

For Black Friday, I went shopping with my mom between midnight and 5am. For us, every year it’s more about having fun together than the shopping. We’ve never ran into huge crowds and we enjoy having a midnight treat once we get hungry. This year we only stopped at Target and Old Navy, which had 50% off the entire store.

These yoga pants were only $10 and they are my favorite style because of the high waist band and boot cut hem. The shirt was a must-buy because it’s a lyric from my favorite Christmas song. 🙂

These work pants were only $16 and the red color is so festive but also works as a classic year round.

I always check out Target’s black Friday deals just for their DVDs. One year I was able to buy the entire series of Sex & the City for each season at $10! The movies I bought this year were between $4-$8/each and the TV shows are always $10/each.

Black Friday Deals

Hi there lover! Happy short school and work week 🙂 Thanksgiving is only 2 days away and then come the Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday Sales!! Woohoo! A few years ago I started the tradition of going shopping with my mom from midnight til about 5am on Black Friday. I sometimes end up shopping the online sales too, so here are a few of my beauty favorites.

Makeup Geek: Makeup Geek is one of my favorite makeup brands and they are solely based online. I know it can be hard to shop for makeup when you can’t see it in person but I’ve never been disappointed by them. They posted this picture on their Instagram a few days ago, mentioning all their deals.
Sephora: Sephora each year creates special deals in cute packaging for Black Friday. In the picture above, the Buxom box is their mascara and eyeliner for $10. I actually bought this last year and have yet to try it (lol!).
Citrine Natural Beauty Bar: For my organic and natural beauty loving girls, this is the place for you. I am trying to switch to using make-up with better ingredients and I really love the concept behind this company. They have a store front in Phoenix, Arizona and the owner Melissa is such a sweet and kind woman. For their Black Friday sales, they are offering 10% off orders of $100, 15% off orders of $250 and 20% off orders of $500. I currently have some of their products on my Christmas wish list!
