Fall Whites

Hi lover! How’d your weekend go? On Friday I enjoyed sake-tinis and some appetizers for happy hour with my mom and then went to my boyfriend’s brothers’ house and got to play lots with Bobby’s nephew whom I adore!! Saturday I got a hair cut (!!! – it’s hard to notice in these pictures but I LOVE it!) and relaxed mostly. Sunday I went to Church with my family and then had a late lunch, it was wonderful.

These Fall whites are perfect for Miami. It hasn’t really dropped below the 80’s here, so we are still feeling the heat. My sweet mom gifted me these heels about a month ago and I hadn’t worn them yet. I absolutely love the combination of hot pink + white. I know technically that’s more summer-y but I still wore these yesterday. My hat on the other hand, is perfect for fall and only cost $12!!

Life Photo Diary

Happy October lovers! I know it’s already the 8th of the month lol but I love these kitty ears and think they are so appropriate for the month. My mom gave me the ones on the left and sister got me the ones on the right, those two are the best! 🙂

Speaking of those two… 😉 I love them and having Sunday lunch with them was so, so fun!

If only every Sunday could include mimosas.. that would be fabulous!

Key Lime Pie is one of my favorite desserts, if it is done right. Lokal in Coconut Grove DEFINITELY does it right!

Cookies and Milk. Freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. If you know one thing about me it’s that I adore cookies & milk.

My favorite pictures are always the most candid ones. Bobby took this one on his phone and I didn’t find out until a week later when he was showing me something else on his phone. I think I will frame this one because of how much it means to me. People often say how once your first child is born that is when you realize the true meaning of unconditional love. While that may be very true, I feel that it is thanks to my mom that I know what unconditional love is. She is the love of my life.

Flare Jeans

Hi lover! The 70’s style is back! Calling all bell bottoms, flowy tops & fringe adornments, dust them off and give them a whirl! 😉 I have loved flare jeans since I was a preteen. If you talk to my boyfriend’s mom, she will share how she vividly remembers the day she met me and what I was wearing. Funny enough, it was an off-the-shoulder royal blue top with blue flare jeans.

I’ve been wanting a new pair of these jeans because all my old ones were given away as I grew out of them. I found these at Target and they were the only ones with the flare style. I wasn’t sure at first because I wanted the wash to be a bit darker, but after trying them on, I was sold! They are very comfortable and super long but since I don’t want to ruin the hem I can only wear them with my highest heels (which happen to be purple lol!). Also, these are perfect for short girls because they elongate your body and make you look taller.

I’m already planning my next outfit with these and I know it will be more along the boho vibes. Do you own any vintage bell bottoms? Hope you have a lovely day and thanks for stopping by!

Greys – Urban Decay Smoky Palette

Hi lover! How’s your week going? Mine has been fairly chill and for that I’m happy! Oh my gosh, I also have to share that I’ve started rewatching Scandal and I am massively obsessed. Before I had only watched until the beginning of Season 2 and I wasn’t that into it. Now, if I could watch it all day long, I totally would lol!

Today I created more of a darker, grey tone smokey eye only using colors from the Urban Decay Smoky palette. Recently I did a more day time look using the palette, here, and now I like it even more! The matte colors are really, really good which helps me a lot when blending the colors. Under the brow bone I applied Combust with the E40 fluffy blending brush. Using the same brush, I then went in with Password to darken the outer corner and crease. Next I used the dual-ended brush (on the side that is thicker) to apply Black Market to the outer corner. I then blended all the colors with the middle brush (pictured above) which is a stiffer blending brush, for more precise control. Again using the dual ended brush (the right end, flatter side) I applied Armor all over the lid. With just those 4 colors and 3 brushes, I created this look. 🙂 I love being able to use only one palette because it saves me time while getting ready.

Camo Jacket

Hi lover! How was your weekend? Mine was great.. got to enjoy cooking for some friends who came over on Friday, was able to spend the whole day loafing on Saturday and then spend a beautiful Sunday with my family and boyfriend.

I wore this on Friday night and I’m totally loving the camo jacket. I’ve always been a big fan of camo prints and I scored this jacket online while it was on sale for $20! I just realized that my previous outfit post I was wearing black and olive (similar to this outfit) and that just proves how much I’ve been wearing these colors lately.
