Hi lover! Happy First Day of Fall! If only the leaves changed colors here in Miami… and the weather dropped to “chilly”… it would be perfect, lol. I took out two more pumpkins and Halloween décor in my home today. I really just love the changes each season brings. Living here you really can’t feel the seasons through the weather, but we gotta make it work somehow. 😉

These shorts are SO comfy. I bought them around 2 months ago and I was skeptical to get them. I haven’t worn Bermuda shorts in a while, but when I was a little girl I would wear them ALL the time. They also work great for the days when it is still really hot outside.

Old Gold Makeup Look

Hi lover! Last night I had one of those really vivid nightmares.. it was awful! I dream every night and remember about 98% of them, it’s really cool. The nightmare last night was so real I can remember seeing colors on the clothing and faces of people. Usually I will remember what happened in the dream but forget the colors. I dreamt that a whole group of people came into my office to steal whatever they could get their hands on. Doesn’t sound like a big deal but I was so shocked and didn’t know what to do.. scary!! Lol ok enough of that, tonight I am going to dinner with some friends at one of my favorite restaurants and I can’t wait!! This place serves my favorite wine (at the moment) and best croquettas!! I will take pictures of course. 😉

I came up with this eyeshadow look on the spot and I adore how it turned out. The star of the show is the MAC pigment in the shade Old Gold (top picture it is the one with the striped cap). The cool part of this color is that it reflects gold and green tones, depending on the lighting. I am obsessed with pigments, duochrome colors and pretty much anything holographic. For the crease and outer corner I used colors from the first Urban Decay Naked palette. The two matte colors, Naked and Buck went in the crease and I used Dark Horse for the outer corner.

Fall for Plaid

Hi lover! How was your weekend? Mine was really nice… got some productive things done and had time to lounge around and watch movies. The weather was way hotter than I anticipated but I didn’t have much outdoor plans. Anyway I’m determined to tackle a lot of items on my to-do list this week, so I’m feeling pumped!

I wore this outfit on Saturday to run errands with my boyfriend. We really just went shopping to buy presents for a special someone whose birthday is this week.. {my best friend!}. The outfit worked in my favor because when it got too hot, I would tie the shirt around my waist and then when I was cold inside the mall, I would put it back on. I love how soft this plaid shirt is and I bought it last week at Target.

Hey lover! Here’s a recap of what’s been on my iPhone the past week. Cheers to the weekend! I’m not a fan of beer.. Once I’ve had a full glass of beer I begin to feel full and bloated lol! However I do like having it with some meals like a burger or wings and I only used to like Stella. Recently Bobby introduced me to the beer on the right (Wild Blue) and it tastes like a blueberry soda or cocktail. I absolutely love it!!!

This picture is so dark but there’s something I love about it. The movie we are watching is Home and it’s one of my favorite animated movies. So cute, I highly recommend it!

My Abuelito (grandpa) was so sweet to gift me this blender, since he knew I was in need of one. My mom has always made the most delicious homemade juices. Whenever fruits became too mushy to enjoy, she would make the tastiest juice out of them. Now I love doing the same thing. 🙂

Oh what a mighty fail this was. I am not a vegan but my boyfriend’s dad recently made some diet changes and I bought this to try and see if I could make it for him. Thankfully I tested it out on myself first because I did not like it at all. Some people may love this, but I won’t be repurchasing it.

Ramon (Bobby’s dad) made us these delicious cocktails last weekend. He can invent a new drink on the spot, which I consider an awesome talent and they are always my favorite!

It’s so funny when I gather the pictures for these post, that most of them are of food or drinks. Whenever someone prepares or cooks anything, it is so meaningful to me. Hi lover! Today I wanted to start a new series that will show small updates and décor ideas I’ve had with my new living space. First up is my TV stand. Just looking at this piece makes me so proud because it was the first furniture I built all on my own! I bought this one at Ikea and it is called the Brusali. I was originally hoping to find one that had drawers or doors so the DVDs would be tucked away, but to save money I ended up choosing the Brusali. So far, I’ve absolutely loved it and I still want to add a few decorations to make it look nicer.

Next is this gorgeous vase that my mom gave me. She bought the same one for herself and my sister so that we could all have it and it is one of my favorite things in my home. It is different from any other vase I own and will always have a sweet memory. 🙂

Lastly is this decorative bowl with mini faux pumpkins. The bowl was a Home Goods find and the pumpkins were purchased there as well. The intricate details on the bowl are so beautiful that it can easily stand alone without any fillers. I added the pumpkins to bring the first bit of fall décor into my home and they are just so cute! Right now I have this sitting on my coffee table and in the future I might use it as a center piece for my dining table.
