Hi lover! I know… white jeans in two posts in the same week! Lol, I really wasn’t kidding when I said I love wearing them. I’m also really enjoying wearing white on white. I used to stay away from this combo, but lately I love accessorizing it with browns, neutrals or a pop of color. I just bought this lightweight blazer from H&M last week (it was only $25!) and the fit, cut and feel is perfect to my liking.

This weekend my family is celebrating my aunt’s 75th birthday and I am so excited for it. I’m also hoping to get a bunch of work done for the blog so I am really looking forward to that as well. Miami Swim Week 2015

Hi lover! Last week was Miami Swim Week, filled with lots of fashion show, events and parties. I found out through a fellow Miami blogger, The Fashion Poet, that she was hosting an event on Saturday in Miami Beach, with a fashion show. I decided to take the plunge and see a peek of what Swim Week is all about. The event was all afternoon and the Miami heat was almost unbearable that day! However, the event was really fun and such a nice experience!

When I got this skort 3 weeks ago, I fell in love with the print and fit of them. I adore the detail in the front that gives a peek of the shorts. The pattern reminds me of some of the beautiful prints I saw in person and online of bathing suits, cover ups and resort wear showcased in the Swim Week fashion shows.

Simple Tip for Smokey Eye Shadow

Hi lover! I really missed posting on here yesterday! Today I’m sharing a really simple tip to help you create a nice smokey eye. Whenever I think of smokey eye shadows, my first thoughts are that I will need to use several colors in order to get the right gradient. However for this look, the only dark colored product I used was a chocolate eye liner pencil. I put some of it in the outer corner and then used a brush to blend it out and give it the smokey effect. Simple as that!

Hi lover! Ah, this week I’ve had such a great one that it has actually gone by too fast for me! I’m still excited for the weekend and I’ve made some plans for Saturday afternoon that are out of my comfort zone. I’ll tell you more about it next week.

On another note, I’m totally in love with this outfit. I bought both items over a month ago and I knew they would be the perfect pair. But it’s very typical of me to buy an outfit that I love and then want to save it for a “special” occasion. I finally got tired of waiting and decided to just enjoy it! The lace detailing on the blouse is stunning, in my opinion. Also if I could wear white jeans every other day, I totally would!

Hi lover! A little of what has been on my iPhone the last 2 weeks… First is a selfie from this Monday while I was on my way to meet up with one of my best girl friends for dinner. 🙂

My favorite sangria {at the moment} is served at a restaurant in Miami called Latin House… I love their food too!

I made these smores cookies for my friends’ birthday party… Sure they are not healthy but certainly delicious and cute that they are bite size! 😉

Sopa de chicharo, also known as split pea soup… this is my sweet mothers’ Colombian homemade recipe. LOVE it! Funny story is for the first 16 years of my life I refused to eat it because of the color. Then at 16 I started dating my first serious boyfriend, whose mother happened to make this for dinner one day. I was very embarrassed to not drink her soup.. so I tried it, ended up loving it and immediately called my mom to say “you won’t believe what just happened”!!! Haha life has a funny way of teaching you things.

I’m pretty addicted to these type of cups. I use one everyday so at least they have a purpose, ha! This one is currently on my wish list. 😉
