Hi there lover! How’s your week been so far? I actually feel like mine has been the perfect balance of fun and productive (such a nice feeling). I’m also very inspired this week and that gives me such a high, I wish I could bottle it up forever!

I wore this last week on dress-down Friday to work. Circle skirts are so feminine and flirty, I wish I owned them in a few more colors. This skirt is special because I still remember when I wore it for my 100th post here. I also styled this skirt differently, for more of a night out look here.

Cool Toned Eye Makeup

Hey lover! I tend to gravitate more towards warm colors when it comes to makeup, but I am slightly obsessed with how this cool-toned look came out. Another thing I love, is when I can create a look only using one eye shadow palette. For this I used the Lorac Pro Palette 2, which happens to have an overall cool toned theme. I often mention this palette on my blog because it is probably the one I use the most. To define the eyes I created a bold wing liner with Kat Von D’s Tattoo Liner in Trooper.

What colors do you tend to wear more often, warm or cool? I think these eye shadows match so many outfits, that I will probably end up wearing it more often. Thank you for stopping by lovers!

Half Year Resolutions

Hi lover! How was your weekend?? Miami temperature was around 100º F, perfect for the pool or the beach. That’s exactly what I got to do all weekend and it was lovely! I hope you got some good weather and time to kick back and enjoy.

I am constantly on the pursuit of improving myself. I don’t like to take New Years day as the only time to reevaluate and set new goals. Rather, I prefer continuously seeing what areas of my life I could change and put more effort into. With all this being said, I chose to look back at the Resolutions I gave myself this year.

1. Get out of bed at 8am every work day– I’ve always been more of a night owl and loved sleeping in. But this year I really wanted to make it a habit to get out of bed earlier. I don’t have to be at my job until 10am, so I really wanted to take advantage of the mornings to get things done and be more organized. I am not yet at the 8am mark, but I am getting up at 8:30am. This is great news for me because I still have 6 more months to improve my morning routine by 30 minutes!

2. Be on time more– Ah the struggle! I am typically late to most places. I admire people who are always on time and I love getting tips from them. Overall, I have had some improvements, but I definitely need to work on this more.

3. Make healthier food choices– This is a lifestyle change I wanted to make and not a diet. Out of all my resolutions, I have done the best job with this one. It definitely didn’t happen overnight and I do not consider myself a perfect eater, but I am so happy with the changes I’ve made.

4. Save a cash fund for something fun– Ok I will be completely honest with you… I had totally forgotten about this goal. How upsetting because by now I could have saved a good amount, but I am excited to start the fund from now on. One of my friends, does a weekly cash fund and she is so good at sticking to it. Last year she saved a little over USD $1,000! If I start now, maybe I can save around $500. 🙂

Back in January, I did not want to set a long list of goals so I could easily stick to the few I chose. How are your resolutions going? I would love to hear about them! Thank you for stopping by lovers!

Summer Festival/Concert Inspiration

Hi there lover! My outfit today was totally inspired by summer music festivals. I haven’t gone to an outdoor concert or festival in quite a while, but I remember how much fun it was dressing for them! This skirt is perfect for twirling, so you know I was doing that the whole time while shooting this outfit. 😉

Hi lover! Here’s a little update on what has been on my iPhone for the last week. This selfie is from last Thursday, on the way to a friend’s birthday dinner (hence the huge gift bag behind me). Necklace + Hat are from Forever 21 and shirt is from Target.

Last week I cooked this healthy and might I add, delicious 😉 dinner!

This is my nail color of the week. Thanks to my sister (who has an amazing nail blog) she gifted me this cute color and I’m so obsessed with it! Color Club shade: Diggin’ the Dancing Queen.
