Hi lover! This outfit is one I would wear to the office with a cardigan or blazer on top, since my office is always super cold. However for this post, I wanted you to see that this outfit is also great for other events and not just for an office job. I could easily wear this to a day event, church, or any family party.

For my job, I tend to wear the same 6-8 pairs of shoes. They are usually closed-toe (for the cold purposes), unless it’s a dress down Friday. At first I was very hesitant to buy these Tory Burch wedges since they were priced at around $200. I bought them at the outlet in Orlando and I believe there was no discount since it is one of the brands’ signature styles. Honestly though, I don’t regret buying them at all! I find them extremely comfortable, the heel is a perfect height and I am constantly wearing them. I know they will be a staple in my outfits for years to come.

Bright Eyes Makeup Tutorial

Happy Cinco de Mayo lovers! For the past few years it has become a tradition that Bobby and I go to our best friends’ place for holiday festivities. Of course there is Mexican tacos, drinks and fun pictures with sombreros! On a random note, my entire life I could not bare the taste of spicy food. The slightest hint of pepper in a meal caused my tongue to feel very hot and if there was extra spice added, I almost felt my throat closing. I was not allergic (thankfully) but I never built the tolerance for it. Thanks to dating Bobby for the past 5 years, I have built an excellent tolerance for spicy food and I love it now!

The highlight of today’s makeup tutorial is the white shadow. This type of shadow is called a foiled eyeshadow, which describes the metallic-like finish. This particular color is called Whimsical and it is by the brand Makeup Geek (only sold online). These foiled eyeshadows are amazing! I used my finger to apply the color (after using primers) and the pigmentation is out of this world. In the crease I used Peach Smoothie, Creme Brûlée and High Tea, all by Makeup Geek to create a diffused color. For liner I used Makeup Geek’s gel liner in the shade Immortal to create a wing. For lashes I used Too Faced’s Better Than Sex and Urban Decay’s Perversion mascaras.

Hi lover! I’m sorry this post is being published late in the day, but I really disconnected from my routine this weekend. I was able to relax with my boyfriend and last night I saw two of my girl friends from elementary school that I had not seen in SO long. Overall it was an amazing weekend! 🙂

These shoes are within my top 5 favorites! I always love heels that have some sort of ankle strap. The stripe details make these sandals so different from your typical platforms. I’ve had these for a few years an they are still a Spring/Summer staple for me. As for the top I am wearing, my mom bought it for me over the weekend. If I had enough money, I would hire her as an “assistant shopper” because I always love anything she buys me!

Hey lover! Now you can see what I meant in yesterday’s post, that I am slightly obsessed with off-the-shoulder tops and dresses. I’ve had this dress for a few years and I love how much of a statement piece it is. The color combo creates instant heart eyes for me!

I wore this last Friday for a date night with my boyfriend Bobby, which I talked more about in this post. The dress was perfect for our dinner date and the heels were too. Oh these heels! I have never found a pair with a rose gold, metallic detail and to find these on sale for $30, in my size… perfection! I did not include a close up of them in this post, but you will most likely see them again very soon. 😉

I am so excited for the weekend and I’m hoping to have some time by the pool and tanning. I hope it rains at some point too because I love staying in bed for a rainy day. Oh and I almost forgot, happy first day of May! Thank you for stopping by lovers.

Off the Shoulder

Hi lover! Oh this outfit is one that I love very much. I cannot get enough of the “off the shoulder” tops and dresses. You will see how real my obsession is.. maybe tomorrow? 😉 I am finding them in any store I go into and I’m slightly regretting this very cute top I saw at Target and did not buy. On a random note, I think it’s been over 7 years since I last shopped at Hollister (lol). But while looking for new jeans, I thought I would give it a try and no such luck. I did however really love this top!

I think my all time favorite accessories are hats. However most of the ones I own are too hot to wear now for Spring and Summer so I am really craving some lighter colors and textures.

Today I am focusing my prayers around those victims of the earthquake in Nepal and all the cities in the US that are experiencing riots/protests. I hope wherever you are today you are safe and have a wonderful day!
