Hi lover! I believe a black skirt is essential to any woman’s closet. Choose a style comfortable to your body type and I am certain there will be at least one event where it will come in handy. I was in need of finding the right {black} pencil skirt for work because it would match endless styles of tops. Since I had a Ross gift card, I decided to take my hunt there. Luckily this was one of the only pencil skirts and I just loved the stretchy material and fit.

This week is hectic for me so my posts are not going up at their usual scheduled time, but life happens! Side note, these rose gold capped-toe heels are DIVINE in my eyes, but quite uncomfortable. What a bummer. I save them for when I know I will be mostly sitting down, haha! I hope you have a wonderful day lover!

Hi lover! This weekend was such a great one. Bobby and I didn’t have much plans, so we were able to just go-with-the-flow and relax. My oldest niece also arrived in town with 2 of her friends for their spring break! I am so excited to have them all here and that just means this week will be full of adventures!

Last weekend I watched the new remake of Disney’s Cinderella and I absolutely loved it!!! Ever since my boyfriend and I started dating, one of our favorite things to do is go to the movies. In the beginning we would go every week religiously. Then money was tight so we wouldn’t go as often, until we found out about matinee movie prices ($6.50!!!). Now our favorite is going to Cinebistro, which is a 21 and older crowd and they serve a full menu along with a full bar. When we went to watch Cinderella this weekend, I found it fitting to wear my dream-like tulle skirt. I loved every second of it! As you can see in the pictures, I couldn’t get enough of the twirling 😉

Happy 1 year Anniversary to Let’s Fall in Love Blog!!!

Hi lover! Today feels a bit surreal to me. I dreamt for so long of starting a blog and my fear held me back from starting it sooner. I made plenty of excuses and the planner inside me kept wanting to research before starting. On March 13, 2014, I officially hit publish for the first time. I didn’t advertise it for close to 5 months and only told my closest group.

This blog brings me joy everyday. It gives me the platform to be creative and the fire to work on improving myself. This space takes a lot of work and it’s something I pour my heart into. I have HUGE dreams for LFIL blog and I cannot wait for you to see what’s in store.

Travel Diary : Bimini {#HillsBiminiBach}

March 6 – 8, 2015

Hi lover! Last weekend we celebrated my best friends’ (Kelci) older sisters’ (Hillary) bachelorette party. We took a boat ride over to the Bahamas on Friday night and had a blast since the moment we all got together. It was a group of 6 of us and by the end we kept telling each other how perfect our group was.

Bimini is known for their beautiful waters and in the pictures you can see how magical they are. On Saturday afternoon we lounged by the infinity pool with some cold, fruity cocktails in our hands and it felt like paradise! A little tip if you ever plan a trip to Bimini is that most people rent golf carts to get around. We did too, but we had no idea the importance of locking your golf cart, with an actual LOCK. After just one short drive to breakfast, we came back to discover our golf cart was stolen! Although unfortunate, we found it hilarious!

Hillary: I am so lucky to have been part of your special weekend, so thank you for including me! You are our perfect, gorgeous bride-to-be and I cannot wait for your wedding!! Kelci: as always, you out did yourself with the perfect bach party and making sure each detail was thought of. As I tell you over and over again, you are the greatest best friend/sister in the world and I love you times infinity.

Floral Feelings

Hi lover! I have to share that I have been feeling quite nostalgic this week. It just hits me sometimes; I miss my family members who live in Colombia and my friends that I haven’t seen in a long time. 2 nights ago I dreamt that I was in Colombia and most of the dream was random scenes. It just so happened, that late in the afternoon my family members started messaging us saying they had felt a strong earthquake. I thank God they are all safe and only wish I could take a quick trip to visit them.

I wore this outfit recently to church. I’m actually surprised that this is yet another blue-toned outfit, but I promise that I don’t even realize how drawn to it I am. I really liked the busy floral pattern paired with a very neutral skirt.
