Helloooo Lover! Today’s outfit, I kind of wish I could wear everyday. I am slightly obsessed with it. Friends and family, if you see me wear this often, please understand! 😉

One day my dad asked me to accompany him to Old Navy to look for some jean shorts. We ended up not finding any, but I did find this tissue turtleneck for about $10! It is absolutely made for weather in Miami, that is rarely too cold. Again, I am always wearing all-black outfits lately. I was talking to my boyfriend about this the other day, and it isn’t actually a new thing. Back in high school, I was known for constantly wearing all black and mostly leather! It really makes me laugh now because I may have overdone the all leather looks, but black is really one of my favorite colors to wear.

In conclusion, I can be found wearing lots of black or lots of bright colors. I wore this skirt in a more colorful outfit here. I’m so excited for the weekend, I hope you have the best one yet! Thank you for stopping by!

Hey lover! I decided to start a new series on the blog called “Thursday Treats” in which I share a few items that I have been enjoying lately. They will not necessarily always be beauty related so I hope you enjoy!

After Christmas, I had to exchange something in Nordstrom and I decided to try out the Nars Audacious lipsticks. Since they are quite pricey ($32) I only purchased one shade {Barbara} and opted for a nude one. I absolutely love this color on me because it has light brown undertones and it really compliments my skin. The lipstick is very moisturizing, doesn’t settle into fine lines or cracks and it is long wearing! {paraben free}

About 2 weeks ago, I asked my sister, who has an entire nail blog, what I should use to help my dry cuticles and she highly recommended I put an oil on them every night. I stopped by my local beauty supply store and picked this one up because I really enjoyed the lavender scent. I have noticed a big difference on the look of my cuticles ever since I started moisturizing them with this oil.

For Christmas, one of my best friends gifted me this set of cream eye shadow sticks from Laura Mercier. The brand is no longer selling this set, since it was a holiday exclusive but you can buy the full size sticks for about $28 each at Sephora. I have fallen in love with this product. I use the shadow over a primer and they look great! They are easy to blend and very pigmented. It is perfect if you want to do an eye shadow look in under 5 minutes.

Love Food : Chicken salad sandwich

Hey lover! Two nights ago I got one of those random urges to cook, of course motivated by the thought of “cooking” for Bob. Since I had not planned anything ahead of time, I tried to lean towards an easier meal. I found an easy recipe that said it only used 3 ingredients and those type of recipes are my absolute favorite. Bob really loves sandwiches, so when given two options, he chose this one! I ended up using more than 3 ingredients because I decided to get really bold and add in my own flavours.

Ingredients in the Recipe:

-Chicken of your choice; I seasoned with some garlic powder

-1/2 an avocado

-a small amount of chopped cilantro

-2 teaspoons of plain greek yogurt

-half chopped, cooked red onion

-optional: 1/4 cup of dried cranberries.

-optional: shredded Mexican blend cheese

Steps:

1. On an oiled pan (I used coconut oil) cook your chopped red onion until golden.

2. Season and fully cook your chicken. Then chop or shred entirely, whichever you prefer.

3. In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, onion, and mashed up avocado.

4. Mix in greek yogurt, until desired consistency. Also add cilantro and cranberries.

5. Place chicken salad into bread of your choice, a tortilla or lettuce wrap. I used a slightly warm croissant. Garnish with cheese.

We loved these sandwiches and I will definitely be making this chicken salad again soon. Let me know what you like to add to your chicken salad! I apologize for the lack of good pictures on this post, I really jumped into the prepping portion of the night! Thank you for stopping by.

Hey lover! This past weekend I had a great time celebrating birthdays for some family members and one of my best friends. There was lots of dancing, delicious food and great company. I also was able to enjoy a late lunch with my boyfriends’ family, whom I had been missing lately. One of my favorite parts of the weekend was also doing my best friends’ makeup for a wedding she attended!

I wore this outfit yesterday for a family reunion at my house for those with birthdays this week. This blouse is truly a hot, electric flamingo-pink. The material is very soft and this bright color really puts me in the best mood. Oh and in case you didn’t notice, I am wearing the same shoes that I chose for my last Love Series post (from a week ago) haha!

Paris Memories Romper

Hi lover! This romper takes me right back to the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. It was our first night in the city and after waiting a lifetime, first stop was the Eiffel Tower.

I decided to wear something comfortable, yet chic 😉 hence the romper. I don’t own many dresses or rompers with long sleeves, which is probably why I love them so much. It may sound contradictory, but they are a rare find for me.
