Happy Monday lover! I hope you had a fabulous weekend. I’m currently still traveling and cannot wait to do a recap of my trip next week!

I wore this outfit to my office job, before I left on vacation. I really like this skirt a whole lot. The ruffled bottom is my favorite. This skirt cost $6 when I bought it at a thrift store! I don’t usually go thrifting, but the last time I went, I found such great pieces.

Happy Friday lover! Today’s outfit (minus the shirt) is a go-to for me if I’m going to a party or out for drinks, during the weekend. I have worn this out many times with my boyfriend, thankfully he doesn’t mind, while I keep loving it!

I have to share that I recently bought this floral top (it’s really a leotard) on Forever 21 online, for only $8!! That is such a good deal for me. The skirt is a Target treasure because I love the skater style and scalloped trim. Oh and of course, the hat is my favorite accessory. Lately, I have been so attracted to the girly, mixed with edgy, fashion style.

This weekend I am traveling to Paris and the anticipation feels unreal. I cannot wait to breathe that French air and live the culture for a few days. If you have any recommendations of places to visit, please share! I wish you an amazing weekend lovey.

Hey lover! Another day, another pair of shoes that I love. One day I’ll share a post on my shoe collection and you will see how into it I am. I was even lucky enough to design and build my dream shoe organization, while staying on a budget! That is a whole post in itself, soon to come.

Today’s outfit I wore recently to dinner and a movie with my boyfriend. These jeans are definitely rare with a lime green stripe down the leg, but they are so stretchy, they feel like a glove. I wanted to add the tribal print wedges to change up the look. These shoes always make me laugh because I bought them one day during my lunch break, while working in a big (in my opinion) law firm. Walking distance there were several boutiques that I loved visiting to have a mental break and shop! I remember wearing these to the firm on a dress-down Friday and one of the male partners made a comment that he thought they were cool. I’m not sure if he was sincere, but I’ll always remember the compliment!

Love Food : Signature Bowties

Recipe adapted from Pinterest

Hi lover! It’s so funny to me that I started a series on here called Love Food, which you rarely get to read about. This series is supposed to document my journey in becoming a better chef, however I don’t get around to cooking much.

Aside from this, my best friend showed me today’s recipe on Pinterest about a year ago and this is still my favorite pasta to cook. I adapted it to my own style by removing some of the ingredients in the original recipe.

What You Need

14 oz of Farfalle Pasta (or bowtie pasta)

1 Tbsp Olive Oil

1 Cup of Chopped Onion

3 Cloves of Garlic (Minced)

1 Cup of Sour Cream

4 oz of Cream Cheese (Room Temperature)

3/4 Cup of Parmesan Cheese

10 Oz of Spinach (Make sure to squeeze excess moisture, after it has been thawed of course)

1 Cup of Mozzarella

1/2 Teaspoon of Salt

What To Do

Preheat Oven To 425 F.
Cook pasta according to the box. Keep 1/4 Cup of the Pasta Water before you drain the cooked pasta.
Heat oil in pan and cook onions for 8 – 10 minutes. Add garlic and cook for one minute.
In a large bowl – Mix Sour Cream, Cream Cheese, Parmesan, onions and garlic. Add Pasta and mix.
Stir in spinach, 1/4 cup of cooking liquid from the pasta, salt, and 1/2 Cup of Mozzarella
Place mixture into greased 2.5 – 3 qt casserole dish and place the rest of mozzarella cheese on top.
Place in the oven till golden brown on top, about 10 – 15 minutes.

23rd Birthday Recap

The day started with my parents, boyfriend and aunt singing happy birthday to me! Then my sweet boyfriend made me some delicious breakfast and a side of mimosa. I spent the morning lounging with my boyfriend and relaxing. For lunch we ate at Sports Grill which has our favorite chicken wings and cheese fries. It was SO delicious!

In the afternoon I opened some presents…

Bobby was the sweetest ever and got me this beautiful ring from Henri Bendel. I squealed from excitement when I put it on!!

I was so lucky that my aunt made a homemade gluten free cake, it was yummy! My sweet (future) sissy-in-law made the best ice cream cake I’ve ever had! Sadly there are no pictures but I LOVED it!! Lastly, one of my best friends made cookie brownies which were also out-of-this-world amazing!

Some more presents…

At night we invited my closest family for some appetizers and desserts. It was amazing to have my loved ones celebrate with me. I certainly missed a lot of family that lives far away, but I am so happy for the ones I got to see. Afterwards, my best friends came over to enjoy some drinks and then go out to a new night club in Miami. We had a complete blast!!! Overall my birthday was everything that I wished for and so much more. I loved every moment of it, thank you to everyone who left a sweet comment as well.
