Happy Thursday lovey! Mint is easily my favorite color. I wore this to work earlier this week and was quickly reminded about my obsession with this color.

Mint can easily be transitioned into any season. In this look, I decided to pair it with my blouse that had stripes of a similar color scheme. Of course, when I choose to wear a colorful outfit, I like to neutralize my shoe color.

Last night I went to watch “The Fault in Our Stars” with my bestfriend, her sister and her momma (which are easily my family as well) and I loved the movie! Many people keep mentioning how they would never want to watch the movie or read the book because it is sad. This quickly reminds me of when I used to dream of being a Pediatric Oncologist and everyone would react: “Oh my! That is so depressing.” It truly stuns me that people are so reluctant of this topic, that is very much a reality.

I read the book and saw the movie and honestly feel so inspired to spread love to those who suffer from any illness, including cancer. We have so much to learn from all those beautiful souls.

Love Organizing : My Vanity

Hi lover! I’m sorry you have to see the chaos in the photos above… But as you can tell my vanity area was a total mess. Here I keep some of my makeup and jewelery and this is where I get ready everyday. The floral design is not my favorite, but my parents picked it out for me when I was about 12 ;).

I constantly love finding new ways to make this space of mine more functional and esthetically pleasing! The best tip I have found is to de-clutter. I decided that I would remove a lot of excess décor pieces, such as little trays, which ended up being the perfect place to collect clutter. I also had a lot of samples roaming around, so with those I gathered them into a tray and put them in a drawer. When every item has its own little home, it becomes easier to maintain organized.

This photo (above) is part of the finished product. The circular container all the way to the left, now holds all my lipglosses. I loved being able to reuse a candle holder as a practical item.

I am honestly thrilled with how my vanity looks now! Everyday since I organized this, my vanity has maintained its organization (even after I apply my makeup). I hope you enjoyed this before & after post, thank you for reading!

Hi lovey! Love, love, love the mix in this outfit. First, these heels are the best pair of neutral shoes that I own. They match with absolutely everything and thanks to the platform in the front, they are extremely comfortable. A heel with an ankle strap also adds a beautiful touch and more support.

In my humble opinion, certain patterns can pass for neutrals. Camouflage is one of those patterns, along with cheetah and polka dots ;). I love dressing up jeans with heels and a cute blazer. This blazer is also very thin, which is necessary for our hot weather.

Happy Monday lover! Over the weekend I wore this outfit for the hot, humid, and rainy weather we had in Miami. How gorgeous is this orange flowered tree??

I love the comfort of wearing this skirt. I have worn it as a bathing suit cover up, as a daytime casual skirt, and for dress down Fridays at work. The length in a skirt can really give more ways to dress it up or down.

On a random note, I have been reading a lot more lately. I am thinking of doing a post on the books I have truly enjoyed. Its strange to describe, but I have always had a passion for books. Even when I wasn’t reading them, I loved the idea of building a collection and one day having my own (mini) library. 🙂

Hi lover! I wore this outfit yesterday to work and I love how my boyfriend described it, Delightful Contrast! I love pairing two fun colors, in my clothing, and then using all neutral accessories.

This skirt is probably my favorite piece that I have purchased at Forever 21. I bought it last year along with a matching peplum shirt and I love wearing them together, as a set, or as separates. I don’t always find good quality pieces at Forever, but I got extra lucky because this was an online find :).
