Happy belated Mother’s Day to all you beautiful woman who are our real life angels! I spent an amazing day with my mom. I know how important quality time and acts of service are to my mother, so I decided to do just that for her this Mother’s Day. For breakfast I cooked french toast with fresh berries and a very failed attempt at hard-boiled eggs (so sad that I failed at that haha) and for dinner I cooked a lasagna with bread rolls and side cesar salad. I absolutely loved that I was able to devote an entire day to my mother and really wish I could do it more often. The dress I am wearing in these pictures (which I changed into after church) used to belong to my mother, which made it so special for me.

Thank you to all the mother figures in my life. I hope you were showered with love. In honor of my Colombian Mami, I am going to write today’s post also in Spanish. 🙂

Feliz Dia de las Madres (aunque sea un dia despues) a todos las bellas mamas que son nuestras angeles en la vida real. Yo me estuve todo el dia con mi hermosa Mama. Yo se que para ella es muy importante pasar tiempo juntas y tambien es muy importante que yo pueda ayudarla en la casa, entonces mi regalo fue hacer estas dos cosas. Para el desayuno, cocine “french toast” con fruta fresca, y intente concinar huevos pero no me quedaron bien. Que lastima que no pude hacer los huevos (jaja) y para la cena cocine una lasagna que mi Mama me enseno hacer. Me encanto poder dedicar todo un dia a Mami y la verdad quisiera poder hacerlo mas seguido. El vestido que tengo puesto en estas fotos (lo cual me puse despues de la misa) era de mi Mama, que es muy especial para mi.

Mami, te adoro. Gracias por TODO lo que haces por mi. A todas las mamas queridas en mi vida, las amo y estoy muy agradecida de tenerlas cerca a mi.
