Hi lover! Since I went a few months without blogging, there were many things that happened which I still want to share. For the next few weeks, every Thursday you can expect a new series called “throwback Thursday” that will be dedicated to these moments. I stopped blogging right before my birthday so it’s perfect to kick off the series with a recap of my 25th birthday!
My bff Kelci always kicks off my birthday by inviting me over for a home-cooked dinner, some wine and she gives me presents. This year she made delicious pasta since she knows that’s my favorite. 🙂
I planned a weekend fill of fun celebrations, since my actual birthday landed on a Monday. It started with happy hour on Friday at Area 31. This is a nice restaurant/bar located on a roof about 30 floors high, but since its mostly outdoors and it ended up raining, we quickly had to go to a new place. We took a quick taxi ride and headed to my favorite place in Brickell, called Tucandela. They pretty much play latin music all night, so what else could I wish for on my birthday! 😉
On Saturday night we had a fam jam at my parent’s house. The pink shoe was made by my very talented cousin and she used fondant to create it.. *heart eyes*. My mom cooked her delicious Colombian empanadas and my heart was so full of birthday loving.
The weekend ended with Sunday brunch at a place in Brickell called Batch. I love their sangria and their food is pretty tasty as well. After brunch we went to a sushi bar to keep the party going and have some drinks. I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday weekend. Being 25 is so freaking fun! I love it 🙂
Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful day!
