Hi lover! Before I talk about this makeup look, have any of you been watching Dancing with the Stars? If you haven’t, this season has been an amazing competition full of talent and heartfelt stories. I am over the top obsessed with the show (if you couldn’t tell haha)! Tonight is the season finale and I am so sad that for the next few months I will not get to watch the show weekly. This look is a twist on a traditional smokey-eye, which usually incorporates a well blended black shadow, to create the smokey look. In order to keep it lighter, I skipped the black all together and did not use black eye liner. I won’t list specific products today because I have a little something special coming soon to the blog that will make it easier to recreate this exact look. However, if you want to replicate the eye makeup, use warm tones (a mix of orange and browns) in your crease to create a gradient. Then for all over the lid you can use a matte chocolate brown or even a deep plum shade. To keep with the lighter theme, I used a nude eye liner on my water line to really brighten the look. Along with that, place a sparkly white shadow in the inner corner of your eyes.
