Hi there lover! Before I stopped working at the bank…one week I took pictures of daily outfits I wore to work. Here are all the outfit details!

Hello lovers! I’ve missed you so much! I really can’t give you any excuses for where I’ve been… life has just been crazy but that’s no reason for me to stop blogging because I truly love it. So let’s just recap with a “life photo diary” post…here is what’s been on my iPhone lately.

Back while I was working at a bank, this Yeti cup was perfect for me to remember to drink water all day. I’m also not a coffee person but whenever I was offered a “cafecito”, I typically said yes for a boost of energy.

How cute is this wall paper? This is inside a restaurant in Midtown called Morgan’s. They serve brunch food all day (yum) and I’m a huge fan of their food.

Need I say more? This is a heavy meal, but perfect to share and even to enjoy as leftovers. Fried chicken + little bit of cheese + waffles for buns + powdered sugar on top + maple syrup on the side… all the heart eyes!

The sight of my boyfriend buying flowers… melts my heart! I extra melted because the flowers weren’t for me, but for my momma. 🙂

Baby Jessica at a little over 2 yrs old 🙂 This is one of my favorite pictures…Mama always dressed me like a Colombianita.

Papo is pretty much my adopted cousin, always gives me amazing advice and makes the funniest faces when I try to take a picture with him.

This is one of the most delicious store bought cookies, that also happens to be gluten free, organic & vegan… triple win! It’s from Choices Organic Cafe in Coconut Grove. I highly recommend you check this cafe out! They have kombucha on tap and its Delicious!!

Dreaming of vlogging!

Happy hour by the pool with my best friend, Kels. We were enjoying the last bit of summer vacation and it was such a fun bff date.

A few weeks ago Hurricane Irma came by Miami and really affected all of us in different ways. While we lost power, my boyfriend and his cousins cooked the most delicious food on a grill so it wouldn’t expire. I was extremely grateful for being able to eat a home cooked meal and that all my family stayed safe!

To calm my nerves before the storm, I baked a whole lotta fresh cookies. I made a regular cookie mix and an organic one and I loved the organic ones more.

Enjoying said cookies with milk & a magazine to pass time during the storm.

At night, during the storm we played beer pong and DG & I won almost every round. I was the happiest girl ever!

Onto the most exciting news for me to share with you… I finally got a full time job again! You might remember here and here where I talked about how last year I quit my job for a fun break from life. While it was an amazing experience… by the time January 2017 came, I really wanted to work again. I wasn’t trying to jump back into full time right away, but I started slow. By the time we got to June, I was pretty desperate to be employed full time. It was starting to take a serious toll on me and as positive as I tried to stay, deep down I was hurting and feeling very anxious.

My new job came at the perfect moment. I found it thanks to my sister and I’m working as a personal assistant again. I absolutely love the people I work with and this ADORABLE pup is at my job everyday. His name is Spidey and he is so sweet and loving… I’m obsessed with him. Aside from him, I’m ecstatic to be working full time and that I really enjoy going to work. At one point I doubted if I could find a job that would make me happy and give me a sense of purpose. But that’s just another example of the power of the mind… I wanted a job that would give me all those things and I found just that!

Lunch at my new job… homemade picadillo with arroz blanco and some avocado is one of my favorite meals. YUM!

Quick outfit of the day before work. ‘Bom dia’ means good morning in Portuguese.

Pra Você Launch Party

Hi lover! Today’s post is SO exciting for me. We have re-launched and brought back to life, our boutique: Pra Você !!!! It’s a dream come true and even though it’s still in the early stages… we are very excited for what’s to come. 🙂

Back in 2011, I told my mom that I really wanted to make bracelets and sell them as a fun hobby. You might not know this about me but, I get all my creativity and artistic nature from her. So when I told her my idea, she was all about it. She helped me in every aspect and really encouraged me to pursue the business. But after some time, my idea for the business changed because I wanted to sell more than just bracelets. The boutique then came to a halt… but my mom held on to the dream of continuing Pra Você.

Fast forward to about 2 months ago, she told me she was dreaming of relaunching our boutique. I could see the passion in her eyes and it lit a fire in my belly. I thought, why not? Now is the perfect chance to give it our all. We immediately got to work and started prepping for our new collection. My sister has been an enormous contributor to our relaunch and she is handling all our social media and online content. She is the best at creating beautiful and amazing content, so we essentially have a dream team! We decided to keep the same name as before and I still absolutely love it. In Portuguese, “Pra Você” means “for you”. My grandmother was born in a small town in Brazil and she spoke Portuguese so beautifully. I always had and still do have a very strong connection to my Abuelita, so she is part of our dream team as well. 🙂

Pra Você currently features amazing soy candles, beautiful handmade bracelets, statement rings and handmade oil paintings. The bracelets are made mostly by my mom and I and the paintings are all done by her. Friends, I seriously love ALL our products so much that I am certain you will too! The candles are my favorite candles because they make any room smell amazing and you can use the melted wax as massage oil. I usually light one in my living room and it makes the entire house smell incredible. The jewelry is all beautiful and I feel we have the perfect range to match different fashion styles. The paintings are just… gorgeous. My mother has always been my favorite painter and throughout my life I’ve been so fortunate to see her create master pieces for our home. Now it’s time for her work to be featured in your homes too!

On August 12, 2017 we hosted an afternoon party for our friends and family. We served wine & cheese and had fun music playing while everyone shopped. It turned out so great that we are planning another one for the holidays. Now let’s get to the pictures of that day… first, let’s start with the food.

We had orange infused water & lemon infused water, wine, a variety of cheese and dips & dessert treats.

That’s a sneak peek at our collection and guys believe me when I say.. I’m in love with our products!!

I’m so grateful for everyone that came and supported our dream. I only wish I had more pictures with the other ladies but you know sometimes I get caught up in the moment. I’m also very grateful to my sister and I’s boyfriends, who provided the behind-the-scenes support. 🙂

Bell Sleeves

Hi lover! Happy Tuesday 🙂 So because this is the first thing I mention to anyone willing to listen…{hahaha} there are only 13 days left until my birthday!!! I am so excited (just like every other year) and I can’t help myself from counting down the days. 25 has been a very special year for me and I’m thinking of doing some sort of recap, either in blog or video form.

I am loving bell sleeves. They remind me a lot of my childhood love for bell bottom jeans. It’s random but I really just like anything with a flare. This blouse is so flattering because it has a nice deep v-cut, the hem is higher in the front and longer towards the back and it flutters right in the front, so it’ll never feel too restricting. If that’s not enough reasons for me to love it, it’s also black which is one of my favorite colors to wear and I think a universal fave, am I right?

Office Clothes Haul

Hi lover! I was in need of new clothes for work and two weeks ago I went on a road trip and stopped at the Orlando Outlets. If you’ve never been {in my humble opinion} they have some of the best deals. Here in Miami we have a few outlet malls too, but the prices in Orlando are always lower. Throughout the last 7 years I’ve gone a handful of times and always find the best office clothes. These pieces are perfect for outside of the office too, but I use them mostly for work.

The top is soft, cozy and light grey matches well with so many colors. The skirt runs a little big, so I could’ve bought a size 2, but I didn’t find it in that size.

I love the floral print and I left it tucked out so you can see how long it is.

The tee is a staple “little black shirt” and great for work or out of the office. The pants are high waisted, boot cut and have an oversized fit, which I could’ve size down but I wanted a more relaxed fit. Oh and they were only $10!!!

These have the same fit and style as the black pants, but I don’t own any pants this color and found it perfect for summer and fall.

These are same size as the others, but have a tighter fit and are a linen material. So pretty!
